Saying Goodbye

When I first created "Faith Of A Convert" it was a way to help me learn more about my Catholic faith and to help strengthen that faith in me as well as others. In the 2 and a half years I've been doing this blog I have definitely grown in many ways.

I've been wanting to create a place for me to share more personal stories, while continuing to strengthen my faith. I wish to blog more about more personal thoughts, struggles, joys, and loves--the greatest love being my wonderful husband, Paul!!

I hope you will visit my new place, and watch it grow.

Everyday I think to myself "you really should make a post today", but then I can't think of anything to post about. I do go through this once in a while, but never for this long (I don't think). My most recent postings have been very spaced out.

I haven't been doing much reading lately, maybe that's part of it. I tend to post more when I do a lot of reading. Maybe today I'll finish a book I started a while back, and let you know how it is.

I know, kind of a random post, but since I had nothing to post about, I thought I'd post about nothing. LOL!! Did that make sense?

I'm actually working full-time this week, so I might not post anything new for a few days.

I'm not sure why, but I was wondering which of my past posts had the most comments, and I'm glad to find it was a very worthy topic. The post was a cut & paste from another blog about receiving Holy Communion, and even though not all comments are related to the topic, there are some great comments.

During Lent

I will not be posting very often during the Lenten Season, but will not stop all together.

The plan is to spend more time reading the Bible, and finishing my books on St. Rita and St. Bernadette. I will also be practicing my baking skills more during this time. I know it doesn't seem spiritual, but I do a lot of thinking and have some great conversations with God while making things like Cake Balls.

There are many more things on my list for Lent, but lets see how much I accomplish and follow through with before I mention them.

Maybe you have some activities planned or challenges to accomplish? I would love to hear about them. I can always use more ideas.

Poor Posting Habit

I know I haven't posted anything new in a while & I apologize, I've just been a bit preoccupied & a little uninspired at the moment. I will be back in the game soon though, so please don't stop coming by. I truly enjoy reading all your comments.

Hello to all!

I know I haven't been on in a while, but life has been busy, and I've had to put blogging on the back burner for a bit.

In 3 hours I am driving to Northern California to visit my cousins as well as taking a trip to see the Redwoods.

Hopefully by next weekend I'll have some pictures posted from our trip.

My New Name

Everyone in the blog world knows me as Rita, but my real first name is Molly. Rita is my Confirmation name. When I first started this blog I thought going by Rita would be like a new identity. Don't get me wrong, I like who I am, but I now realize that I've been hiding behind the name Rita when posting, insofar as it allowed me to state opinions without making them my own.

So from now on I'm going to step up, & step forward, as me.

Checking In

Well I started working again (part-time) and Tuesday is always the busiest day, but I got to work with my honey today so it was worth every minute. Anyhow, I just wanted to say that I haven't forgotten about my blog, I just haven't had the time. I'll probably be back tomorrow.
