On Saturday morning (my birthday), my husband woke me up and told me to be ready in 45 minutes and make sure to pack an overnight bag. I was soooooooooo excited, i had no idea where we were going, and I didn't know until we arrived. He likes to surprise me, and I like to let him. I've been wanting to take a little weekend trip, and when we arrived at Pismo Beach I thought it was perfect.
We walked on the pier, did some shopping, ate some food, and then we went for a nature walk at a local park. I loved it! After that we decided to go find a hotel. I was shocked that my "everything has to be planned" husband didn't have reservations, but he told me that it's hard to know you're really choosing a nice place online and we'd have a better chance looking in person. Well, the first time was a charm, the room was cute, and the view was beautiful. Once we found the room we went for a walk on the beach. It was very foggy, which is perfect for Paul and I. That's our kind of weather!! We also went to a really nice place for dinner, with an ocean view and the best bruchetta we've ever had. Later that night I got to open gifts. The card made me cry, the second gift made me laugh, the next one made me cry, and the last one made me smile. I guess there's one more, but it's still on it's way. I can't wait to see what it is!
I want to thank my loving husband for the best birthday ever. Thank you and I love you.

Rita,
I absolutely LOVE your husband's hat!!! So classy, functional, and stylish. Where can the rest of us get one?
Wow what a fantastic husband you have. Can he give classes for my husband?

Awwww. What a Happy Birthday you must've had.
I love your pics!
YOU BOTH LOOK FANTASTIC.
Who does your husband's hair??
He oughtta leave the hat on.
Speaking of hats....the double hat picture is the one I want most. Oh, and did someone forget the pelican? He's almost as cute as the couple in the hats. Anyway, I do love the one I just received as well.
Batjacboy,
If you are going to continue to insult my husband, I'm going to have to ask you to please find another blog to visit.
Thank you!
Rita,
I'm not insulting your husband. I just think that if he's the kind of guy who's going to get drunk and cut his own hair, you outta know about it.
