Journal Writing

Every once in a while (like every 6 months) I decide I want to keep a journal, so I do for about 1 week and then I forget all about it. Part of the problem is I'm never quite sure what to write. Do I write in it everyday? Do I write about every little detail of my life? I sometimes don't have much to say at all, and even if I do it doesn't mean I want to have every little thought put on paper. But for some reason I think I should keep a journal of some sort.
Well, guess what?? I've started a new journal!!

This time I have a plan. I will only make comments on 4 topics.
1. High (high point of the day)
2. Low (low point of the day)
3. Accomplishment (of the day)
4. Tomorrow (tomorrow I will...)
5. If there happens to be something I'd like to go into more detail on then I'll write just a few sentences.

This should simplify the whole journal writing for me & I think it's enough information to be an interesting read in the future.
I'd love to hear about any of your journal writing systems or habits.

That sounds like a great idea. Can't wait to read it.

I know exactly what you mean about journal writing. I have the same problem. I start one and then stop within a week or two. It's terrible. I like you ideas though and hope they work out. I should give it another try as well.

I have never started a journal because I wouldn't know when to stop writing. But, I wish you success on your new endeavor.

How is the journaling going? I have quite a few journals lying around my house....all of them have a few pages written...and then they're blank!
I have found that blogging takes the place of a journal for me.
Let me know how it goes!

I started my new journal the night before making this post & I wrote in it 4times since then.

I guess that's not too bad. I'm going to try to make atleast 2 entires a week.
